The I AM Foundation’s mission has been to empower children and adults of all ages to discover the value of self-esteem literacy and educational leadership programs. Since the beginning, the foundation has gifted and distributed over 1.5 million books and products around the globe.

The Pillars of our Foundation
Literacy Program
Since 1998, the Foundation has donated over 1.2 million I AM books to children and adults in over 50 countries. Our books and accompanying curriculum carry the message that the words we think in our mind and the words we speak out loud directly impact the results we reap in life. Through our website, you can request to be the recipient of our books or you can request to donate the I AM books.
Resilience Building
A key goal of the Foundation is to provide support for building resilience in children and adults. When people shift from being a victim to a survivor and a thriver, they are then able to make a positive contribution to society. Children who are resilient have strong coping skills and are equipped to handle life’s challenges.
Self-Sufficiency
Our Foundation implements capacity development in adults and children which focuses on enhancing self-esteem and building skills through vocational training. Most of the children and adults we work with have little to no family to help them. We strive to empower those most in need by giving them opportunities to develop literacy and both the internal and external skills which provide them with the ability to raise themselves out of poverty.
